We've all been in hell for six weeks, but there has to be something that made us smile.
Maybe laugh for five seconds??
Let's try this. and call it "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Quarantine"
Everyone tell a story about SOMETHING that made them chuckle, since none of us have piffled much since mid-March.
For me, it's when I sketched a caricature of my two-and-a-half year old great nephew, Eli, and sent it to him in his suburban Washington DC home.
His parents filmed his reaction.
I'm not great at capturing likeness, just "essence."
So I sketched the best caricature I could, donning him in a fireman's costume and drawing a dinosaur in the background.
I heard my nephew Scott, Eli's Dad, nervously giggle as the filming stopped.
Eli looked at the caricature and said: "This is NOT Eli. I is Eli!"
Not sure if the caricature is still intact.
Identify theft!!!
It's starting earlier and earlier.
