A Birthday Limerick:
We all love our crazed poodle, Luke..
Last Sunday..he barfed! (So much puke!)
We cleaned up ..I "helped"
On this day, Luke was whelped..
(He's fine now..t'was merely a fluke)
He's FIFTEEN!..a quite advanced age
he seems to have shed lots of rage
(No longer sheds sheets...
now..lives for his treats)
No need to be locked in his cage
His bark is no longer intense..
at times, he has rug "accidents"
he's soft..like a noodle
this sweet goofy poodle..
(The nickname of V.P., Mike Pence)
Hogs my space in bed..so I shove him..
he's wacko..but gosh, do we love him!
Fur's faded in color..
Still "orange"..but duller
we smile when we're thinking of him:)
It's true..since he's aged..he's grown mellow
his skin has some bumps..teeth are yellow
but we'll never give up
on this weird, psycho pup..
He's brightened our lives, this sweet fellow
